About me ( DocE / DocEys )
Hi there.
The names I go by are either DocE or DocEys. Whichever one you prefer.
If it wasn't obvious I like programming and I like gaming from time to time.
I really love exploring systems programming languages; I've used Rust a lot in the past and I had fun using Odin, but currently I am mostly doing Jai (which this website is made in)
I've also programmed a lot of C and JS; and I have some experience is some others like C++, Java, TS, Lua and some Python (altough I hate it).
I am an avid NixOS user, so I've got some experience using Nix as well. You can find my configs here (I should migrate this to my own git server at some point).
I am generally around on the computer, you can find me in the following places:
On that note here are some people you should also go check out: Thanks for reading o7
For those interested here are my SSH and GPG public keys:

About this website
I made this website using my own static site generator , which I made in Jai.Making it was a fun exercise, which you can read about on the /blog!
I came to the conclusion to write my own SSG, because even though I've worked with Svelte before, I knew I didn't need much for this website and I wanted to avoid JavaScript at all costs! Then I though about writing some compiler to Webassembly or something, but the integration with the DOM isn't really that great, as I found out while writing my LCOLONQ Microjam 2026 entry which was a weird glob of HTML, JS and Jai compiled to WASM. And so I came to the conclusion to write my own SSG.
You can find some posts about my projects or adventures over on the /blog.
On other website news, there is also a LCOLONQ webring entry I made on the pubnix where I experimented with some CSS effects.
Also don't trust that I'll make more stuff on there like it says 😅
